INSPIRING STAN STORE EXAMPLES: MAKE MORE SALES WITH A CUSTOMISED LOOK

Stan Store serves up friction-free checkout and is easy to set up, but matching your store’s aesthetics to your social platform is essential to making sales. A store with matching colours and branding reassures potential customers they’re in the right place and can trust you with their credit card, transforming hesitant visitors into confident buyers. Here are suggestions on how you can customise the look of your Stan Store, complete with inspiring examples.
AESTHETICS INCREASE ONLINE SALES
If you’re a small business owner, wanting to make your first online sales, it can be tempting to skip customising your store. Please don’t. A few simple changes can be all you need to make sales. The goal of your store’s look is to match the look of your socials, so the relationship and trust you’ve built on your platforms carries across to your shop.
BUT WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A BRAND?
A brand is a way of distilling the impression of you or your business. A designer might create a brand in its most basic form with fonts, colours and sometimes a logo, but you don’t need a designer to get your Stan Store up and running. It will, however, be helpful to have colours and a theme that reflect your social accounts. The main thing to customise are the colours.
If you’re drawing a blank, think about your clothes or other aesthetics that appear in your socials. For neutral dressers, that’s a good way to go in your Stan Store. Are bold colours more your thing? Choose one or two of them and go. Wear black at all times? That’s your answer! You can always update your colours later.
HOW TO CHANGE YOUR STAN STORE THEME AND COLOURS
Stan Store offers 11 styles or themes, which you can customise with your own branding colours and photos. To update these, click on “My Store” in the menu and at the top of the page, there’s an option to edit design.
When you click on the ‘Edit Design’ option, you can scroll through all the themes, which show ways they could be customised. Underneath, you can add up to two colours using Hex codes or a colour picker and choose a font from 10 serif and sans serif options. On desktop, this will preview on a mobile version of your your own Stan Store. Once you’ve chosen your look, click save.
REAL LIFE STAN STORE EXAMPLES
Below are screenshots from some of my favourite Stan Stores. I’ve grouped them into similar styles or looks, so you can see which ones are closest to your aesthetic.
SOFT STAN STORE AESTHETICS
Pink is a commonly used colour on Stan Stores that tap into softer, warm energy. You can see how differently various pink shades hit, with everything from bubble gum to rose petal.
GREEN STAN STORE EXAMPLES
Green is an excellent colour for nature-based stores and when wanting to reflect balance and here are two examples that look very different but both work well for their founders.
